Contract Employment

The first service offered is contract or consultant services.
In this scenario the client only needs a certain skill or knowledge base for a limited time, usually for a particular project. In this instance the contractor or consultant will remain on the payroll of Spartan Resources, and the client will be billed for each hour the consultant is on site.

The major benefits to this scenario is the FLEXIBILITY you have to complement and augment staff for particular projects, without the overhead costs of payroll, insurance and other employee benefits that you carry with a direct hire. It also gives the client the ability to hire and release without notice or legal issues relating to a direct hire if there is a sudden change in business priorities.

 

Direct Placement

The second service offered is direct placement.
In this scenario, Spartan would search for, recruit, and place the individual directly as an employee of the client company.

We will also guide the candidate through the client’s internal interviewing and screening process, and do all necessary background checks. Spartan Resources will also provide our GUARANTEE all permanent placements for the client.

This option is perfect for a company looking to bring candidates on board in order to broaden the existing knowledge base in a particular group or division. Clients will choose this type of service if the skill needed will be ongoing in the business and they would like to retain and develop this as a core company skill.

 

Contract to Hire

The final service scenario is referred to as Contract to Hire.
In this instance the candidate is first brought on board as a contractor, with the circumstances the same as described in the consultant situation above. However, after a certain period of time the client may wish to convert the employee to full time as a direct hire. The primary benefit to this solution is also FLEXIBILITY.

This arrangement is common in 2 situations:

  • The first being if the client would first like to evaluate the skills of the candidate for a trial period before committing to a direct hire contract with the candidate.

  • The second reason for this type of arrangement is if the project duration is uncertain in the beginning and the client would like to see if a long term need develops before committing to a direct hire contract.
